A Christmas Story (19/12/2006 00:42) |
3 young brothers, Bingo, Bongo and Bango had all been trying out for the local footballteam. As they turned 17, they were over the moon about finally being accepted, and they all joined The Spinners. |
First, they got to meet the manager himself, Spinner. A local hero with as many merits as dodgy stories involving forcing players to take drugs and suddenly loosing them as they leave to open flower-shops in Holland. But to Bingo, Bongo and Bango, he was a hero. |
Apparently, Spinners chairman had just given him a new mobile phone, the SpinMobile, and he was very eager to show off this technological wonder to all his players. |
They also got to meet the entire team, The Spinners. |
One day during practice, with all the staff-members present, poor Bango had an accident. The Physio had him thoroughly checked out, but couldn't find anything wrong with him.
Puzzled, but in pain, Bango skipped the rest of practice, and went to lie down in the clubhouse. |
Later that same evening, his brothers suddenly discovered Bango's leg was broken and he was much more pale than usual!!
Bingo and Bongo were horrified, and ran home to their mom and dad and told them what had happened. Luckily, these were sane folks, and made the two brothers understand that "As long as he is allowed to rest, his leg will be fine". |
With renewed relief, Bingo and Bongo went back to the clubhouse and joined in during the formation-practice. Spinner was drilling them in both 4-4-2 and 4-3-3, with special set pieces both for attack and defense. |
After a couple of months, Bango recovered, just as the parents had foretold, and was able to join the team once again. In time, he would become the best player of them all, and the limping didn't bother him at all! |
Two months later, The Spinners were the new League Champions, Bingo, Bongo and Bango had million-dollar contracts, and enjoyed life like never before. |
Three months later, they were suddenly eaten by the Death-Bunny,. |
Then, he ate the new clubhouse, the rest of the players, the staff, a chewy Spinner, and lived happily ever after! |
